TNT Group supplies hoods for Rabanne's Million Gold for Her

TNT GROUP - Million Gold for her - RABANNE

Rabanne has released Million Gold For Her, a premium fragrance from its new Lady Million / One Million collection, embodied by Gigi Hadid, one of the most influential models of her generation.

Specializing in the design, development and manufacture of high-quality metal parts - zamak, aluminum, brass, stainless steel and plastic - for the perfume, cosmetics and make-up industries, TNT Group was asked by the brand to supply all the caps for the 30-ml format and half the caps for the 50-ml and 90-ml formats.

The hoods are designed with a zamak outer part and a PP insert, clipped together. A fine groove embellishes the base of the hood and surmounts the engraved brand name, as does the R on the top of the hood, which has been given an ecoating gold finish.

A "microfactory" for textured products from solid concentrates

site-industries-cosmetiques A person holds his hands under a micro-machine while a white substance flows out. The machine, featuring a digital interface with buttons and a display screen showing "11:23" and "Open", is well lit, highlighting the hands and the device amidst a collection of solid concentrates.

Partners since 2022, Squarexpert, Tectic and Rheonis, specialists in formulation, processes and material behavior respectively, are innovating. To their credit: the design of a compact machine for automatic, instant preparation of industrial-quality textured products. This "micro-factory" for cosmetic products was recently the subject of a patent application protecting a technical process and devices for the automatic and instant preparation of industrial-quality textured products from solid concentrates.

Responding to the challenges of "water sobriety", this technology - which combines manufacturing and packaging operations for textured products in a single step, on demand, in variable volumes - opens up new horizons for the development of bulk and reuse, reducing the use of plastic packaging and environmental costs, while providing a new customer experience at points of sale, places of use or at home.

NeoCosm machine- Fragrances - Product info

"The absence of a mechanical mixing device considerably reduces cleaning requirements, enabling high-speed product preparation at the point of sale for potentially diverse galenicals, from a single brand or several. The technology also makes it possible to customize products by adding colorants, flavors and other special ingredients on demand. At home or at the point of use, it becomes possible to have freshly reconstituted cosmetics, potentially free of preservatives and without intermediate packaging".The designers are confident about the economic potential of their innovation.

"The use of precursors in solid form (loose or compacted powders) offers the prospect of significant space savings at points of sale, as well as substantial savings in logistics and environmental costs".they add.

Currently in the prototype stage, the technology - dubbed NeoCosm - is said to be capable of producing 100ml of homogeneous, stable gelled product in less than a minute from commercial or proprietary powder formulations and water. R&D work is currently underway for the preparation of other galenicals, as well as for other industrial applications.

The prospects opened up by NeoCosm technology for the development of eco-responsible consumption require, in addition to the technical challenges, the implementation of innovative business models and the structuring of an industry. Squarexpert, Tectic and Rheonis are planning to set up a start-up to support and promote the development of this technology.

The Powder-liquid coJetting (PLcJ) process

NeoCosm's technology is based on the patented Powder-Liquid coJetting (PLcJ) process of localized contact between directed flows of powders and liquids to produce industrial-quality textured products.

With no need for mechanical homogenization, reduced energy consumption and reduced cleaning requirements, this process, which can be implemented in small household appliances, vending machines and industrial processes, opens up the possibility of continuous, on-demand production of products with customized galenics and textures.

Seppic's Solagum AX naturally derived polymer offers a lifting effect

The background, filled with greenery and slightly blurred, complements her natural beauty, like the effortless lifting effect you'd get using Solagum AX.

For several years, formulators have been looking for natural, multi-benefit excipients that go beyond their initial properties to offer minimalist cosmetics that meet a need for naturalness.

To meet this demand, Seppic has demonstrated the immediate cutaneous benefits of Solagum AX, a combination of Acacia gum and Xanthan gum obtained by coating using an optimized ratio which, according to Seppic, offers an excellent balance between performance and sensoriality.

"At 1% in water, Solagum AX has proven through clinical evaluation to reduce crow's feet wrinkles, red spots and give softer skin. It offers a natural lifting effect, a sensation of freshness on application, and a brighter, more radiant skin tone after 30 minutes. "says Seppic.

Seppic specifies that Solagum AX is a natural(1), easily biodegradable(2), multifunctional 100 % rheological modifier, more effective than xanthan gum alone. It thickens and stabilizes formulas more effectively, while providing film-forming, soothing and moisturizing properties. It also confers a better watery feel, with a non-filming effect. In dermo-cosmetics, thanks to its better resistance to pH and electrolytes, viscosity remains stable even with active ingredients (such as urea, glycolic acid, allantoin and aloe vera gel) or thermal waters.

A volumetric feeder designed for intermediate flow rates

GERICKE FEEDOS M

Specializing in solutions for discharge, dosing and mixing projects for bulk material processing, Gericke offers the Feedos M, the second product in a new range of volumetric feeders that combine simple operation, easy cleaning and minimal maintenance.

The Feedos M is a high-precision volumetric feeder for medium flow rates from 20 to 3600 l/h. Thanks to its modular design, it is versatile and highly adaptable to both bulk material and process.

Cleanability and hygienic design

The Feedos M can be used in applications with hygienic requirements or in powder applications with medium to very poor flow. The feeder's trough design has been conceived to eliminate the risk of dead zones, facilitate access for cleaning operations and guarantee smooth product flow.

The dosing unit is easy to maintain, as it can be easily accessed and dismantled. According to Gericke, overall, "there's a considerable reduction in effort in terms of cleaning and maintenance, while retaining a wide range of uses."

Optimized sealing

The Feedos M features a new sealing concept. Thanks to the use of lip seals on the feeder and homogenizer drive shafts, the feeder is sealed even at critical interfaces with moving parts. "This makes the Feedos M a perfect dosing device, even in industries with high OEL (occupational explosure limit) or WIP/CIP requirements (Wash In Place / Clean In Place) "says Gericke.

A new, robust, watertight connection system between trough and hopper simplifies assembly and disassembly operations. Like other Gericke feeders, the Feedos M can be used in both volumetric and gravimetric modes when paired with a weighing system and a Gericke GU-type regulation controller.

Feedos M targets industries where, in addition to maximum dosing reliability, a hygienic, easy-to-maintain design is required.

Industrial-scale tests can be carried out at Gericke's pilot plants on the entire product range.

Coverpla - Biolan ©lara lutzbiolanee COFFRET

Known for its emblematic fresh eau de toilette packaged in a large bottle, Biolane Expert marks its return to the pharmacy with the launch of "Ma première eau de senteur": a delicate juice for babies, packaged in a glass bottle with a wooden cap.

For its packaging, Biolane Expert chose Coverpla for its original mix-and-match approach and turnkey product customization.

To protect the formula from external aggression, Biolane Expert has chosen the soft, rounded shape of the Oslo bottle in a 50 ml format, specifically treated with a frosted finish. To accompany it, the Torrid wood cap with recycled PP insert retains a natural hue identical to the brush in the sales box.

In the same natural spirit, the bottle is decorated in white silkscreen.

"We have no regrets about putting our trust in our partner Coverpla for this project. Their development team was able to effectively support our employees, and offer them alternatives in line with our research.
