Cerebiome For Skin from Lallemand Health Solutions, a company specializing in the development of probiotic supplements, has been shortlisted for the Ingredient of the Year award in the "Beauty from Within" category of the NutraIngredients Awards 2025. The winners of these awards will be announced at the industry party on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, during the Vitafoods trade show.
Lallemand Health Solutions points out that a recently published dermatologist-supervised open-label clinical study examined the effects of Cerebiome on 35 healthy Caucasian women aged 30-45 over a period of today. Participants took 3 billion CFUs of Cerebiome once a day [Kassem et al., 2025]. This study used validated questionnaires and biometric instruments common in the cosmetics industry. Results showed significant reductions in perceived stress, benefits for sleep and improvements in skin appearance, including better skin hydration, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin tone and increased skin firmness and elasticity.

Cerebiome has also been shortlisted for the Ingredient of the Year award in the "Mind and Mood" category.
